Minor wealth management

The Wealth Management Minor will equip students with the perspectives, conceptual knowledge and analytical skills necessary to participate successfully in myriad aspects of the Wealth Management industry, including offering financial planning services to individual and institutional investors.

The minor supplements core courses taken by all business majors. Students complete additional coursework in financial and managerial accounting, statistics, economics, decision sciences and business communication as part of their BBA curriculum.

Students who like working with numbers and people to create and sustain financial plans are ideal candidates for the minor in wealth management.

The minor is open to all undergraduate students in the Business School and is also designed to help students prepare for participation in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification program.
