As political and economic issues become increasingly international in scope, there is a growing need for Americans to be proficient in world languages.

When students choose to study Slavic or Eurasian Studies they open doors to a great variety of course offerings. Our courses range from the Slavic countries to Eurasia, and encompass a variety of cultural, political, social, economic, gender, and foreign relations history.

The Slavic language minor is for students wishing to pursue the study of Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian, Czech, Polish, or Ukranian at intermediate and advanced levels.
