As political and economic issues become increasingly international in scope, there is a growing need for Americans to be proficient in world languages.

The Russian minor allows students to pursue a range of interests in the language and cultures of the Russia and East Europe and emphasizes the acquisition of the Russian language.

To declare this minor, contact your assigned academic advisor in your school or college.

Required Courses

At least 15 semester credit hours in Russian, three of which must be upper-division.
