Minor in the McCombs School of Business

GM Minor Image

The Global Management minor offers international business skills valued by employers. Students learn management skills for leading international teams, projects, negotiations, and environments, and experience operating in a non-US cultural environment. Students also gain insight into geopolitical factors that affect business decisions

The minor includes coursework in business and international relations not normally available to students outside those majors and requires a core sequence built around a study abroad or international internship. The minor prepares students to navigate business in an international context. This minor is ideal for those interested in a career in business, government or public affairs, non-profit organizations, engineering, nursing or social work.

The minor is offered through the Center for Global Business at the McCombs School of Business. Students pursuing the minor, along with students in the international business minor and international business major, can participate in additional mentoring, career and advising support, and exclusive internship opportunities through the Center.
