Energy Management

Minor in the McCombs School of Business

The Energy Management Program trains students in business, geoscience, petroleum operations, and law.

Elective coursework provides students with increased understanding of fossil fuels, environmental issues, petroleum markets (upstream, midstream, and downstream), sustainable development, landman work, energy trading, and alternative energy solutions.

The top Energy Management and Commerce degree programs do not produce enough quality graduates to meet industry's needs. Energy companies are looking for graduates in every functional area with the ability to apply their skills in the energy space. The industry is ready with opportunities for undergraduates to pursue careers in the energy industry. Program graduates pursue careers including, but not limited to accounting, finance, land management, supply chain, communications, entrepreneurship, and property administration.
