I had no clue what to do after college. I worked for random places. I tried random stuff to make money (i.e. buying and selling Macbook Pros off Craigslist.org). I changed cities a lot. I think my undergraduate degree wasn't super important for my path. I think it was helpful that wherever I moved there was someone from my college that I could spend time with.

I'm an information-addict, so I really enjoy the internet. I spend more time than most reading the internet. My brother introduced me to some blog writings by Paul Graham. He writes a lot about start-ups. His writings convinced me to pursue starting my own company, which led me to develop a lot of technical skills. At my current job, I use those technical skills. I still hope to start my own software company in the future.

I recommend you learn how to be frugal and live cheaply. It will give you independence. Independence will allow you to pursue what interests you. Pursuing what interests you is the only way to really learn. Learning will help you make the world a better place.

Being frugal is also good for the environment :).
