Sign up for the Free Speech Essay Contest!

The College of Liberal Arts invites you to sign up for the Free Speech Essay Contest for a chance to win a prize. Any undergraduate student can participate regardless of their area of study.

The prizes for the top three essays range from $700 to $1500!

This year, the two topics that students may choose are: The Right to be Forgotten (erasing past speech) and Freedom of the Press. Check the submission details here.

The deadline for submissions is November 4, 2022.
