Freedom of Speech Essay Contest ends MONDAY

Passionate about free speech? Channel that passion into an essay that could win you between $700 and $1500. UT’s annual Freedom of Speech Essay Contest is open to all UT undergraduates. This year’s topics concern transparency versus privacy (the relationship between mandatory disclosure of personal information and control over information) and speech contrasted with action.

Formatting details, exact prompts, and samples from previous winners can be found on the contest website.

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 9 at 9 am.
