INSPIRE is a unique opportunity for women on campus to connect with one another, mentor and be mentored by one another, and develop as professionals and individuals. Throughout three years (sophomore to senior year), INSPIRE offers a unique opportunity for young women to come together across disciplines, schools, areas of interest, race, ethnicity, and life experience to learn the value of diversity and how to successfully communicate across cultures. Students develop inclusive leadership skills by reflecting on their own social identities; how structural exclusion can separate us, and practice outreach strategies for their lives and careers.

INSPIRE does not have a course requirement, but it is expected that members go to the twice-monthly meetings. INSPIRE is currently taking applications from freshman. Deadline is May 20.

MAJOR ≠ CAREER

Your major does not always determine your career path. Many graduates pursue careers outside their field, depending on their interests and experiences.

It’s not just your major that matters! Make yourself marketable by gaining a variety of experiences in college. Read a few inspiring stories by professionals whose experiences led to great careers.
