Want a job that will make an amazing impact on campus? Do you have a passion for supporting first-generation college students? Then apply for one of the available student jobs in First-Generation Student Services! Both positions will give you the opportunity to make UT a more welcoming place for first-generation students, and give you the opportunity to grow as an employee and future professional. The two jobs are as follows

Student Event Planner & LCAE Student Associate

  • This position entails planning events for first-generation students throughout the year, as well as doing front office work for the Longhorn Center for Academic Equity. Applications are due on April 15.

First-Generation Transition and Success Coach

  • This position entails mentoring a small group of first-generation freshman, as well as offering coaching to first-generation students in any cohort. Common topics for mentoring include academic help, finding and using campus resources, finding an off-campus apartment, resume building, and more. This role is only open to current first-generation UT students. The application deadline is April 15.
